KLiC Credit Courses – Learning Content and Methodology
The students learn these courses in a self-learning and self-paced learning mode. They learn by individually accessing interactive eLearning content with a dedicated computer and personal headphone for one or two hours a day by logging in to MKCL’s ERA. As a result, in a lab of 50 computers, 50 students may learn 50 distinctly different KLiC Credit Courses simultaneously.

The eLearning experience in all KLiC Credit Courses is intellectually exciting, academically engaging and professionally rewarding. The eLearning content contains sequentially accessible videos, animations, simulations, various real-life case studies from workplaces, learning activities and interactivities, continuous-comprehensive assessments in the form of formative and summative tests, quizzes, assignments, do-it-yourself exercises, mini-projects, etc.

The pedagogy of KLiC Credit Courses is “inform-to-perform and perform-to-transform”. The eLearning content and the skills being imbibed are gradually being converted to become AI-Flavoured or AI-Powered so that KLiC Certified Student will contribute for dramatic improvement of productivity, quality, profitability and sustainability of the enterprises where they would serve as employees or entrepreneurs.


KLiC Credit Courses - Academic Specifications
  1. Learning Hours for eLearning at KLiC Lab at the Institute Campus: 60 Hours
  2. The eLearning and continuous eAssessment of each of the KLiC Credits is completed in about 58 followed by a 2-hours of ‘Final Online Examination’.
  3. Medium of Learning: English, unless otherwise specified on the link: KLiC Website
  4. Components of Learning: eLearning, Digital Learning, Computer-Lab Work, Skilling, Assignments, Quizzes and Assessments including Formative Assessments
  5. Mode of Learning: Computer Lab-based eLearning
  6. Online Assessment Pattern for each KLiC Credit course:
    a. Total Maximum Marks: 100
    b. Section 1: Learning Progression: Maximum Marks: 25
    c. Section 2: Continuous Comprehensive eAssessment: Maximum Marks: 25
    d. Section 3: Credit End Final Online Examination: Maximum Marks: 50
  7. Passing Criterion: Separate passing in Sections 1, 2 and 3 above by scoring at least 40% marks in each section.
  8. Certification By: The Institute and MKCL.

KLiC Credit Courses - Fee and Sharing Pattern
Duration Fees Payable by the Student (In Rs.)
60 Hours (2 Credits) 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only)

*The Fee shown above may be revised by MKCL annually once in April and will be made applicable from following July. The Fee Shares of the KLiC Lab, MKCL and Institute as shown above shall also be accordingly revised by MKCL proportionately. The Fee and the Fee Shares are inclusive of all taxes.

**Student shall mean the individual who has registered for an KLiC Course with the KLiC Lab and has paid to the KLiC Lab the amount of Fee Share of MKCL as shown above. Student shall get MKCL’s ERA Login only after the Full Fee Share of MKCL # is electronically transferred to MKCL bank Account by the Institute as KLiC Labs Provider. (A software utility and training will be provided by MKCL to the KLiC Lab Coordinator for this purpose).

*** Student Login for an KLiC credit course shall be valid for 180 days from the date of its generation or until successful completion of the KLiC credit course whichever is earlier.
